Well- Starbuck disappointed Mrs. Lane today by spilling the Starbuck coffee rather than bringing her some! :0) I bet Santa sent that coffee to Mrs. Lane and Starbuck spilled it on the way! Either way, Mrs. Lane was disappointed. Oh well- we sure love Starbuck's adventures even though he is often getting into trouble.
After lunch we found Starbuck had left us a Merry Christmas message. We are all a little concerned though because as he returns to the North Pole it is obvious that his spelling and capitalization has not improved. We hope another elf will be writing the Christmas tags because Starbuck will have a lot of difficult spelling the names.
Well- Goodbye Starbuck until next year! Hopefully, you will reappear in Mrs. Lane's room next year.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a "good night".

Day 14- Starbuck
Starbuck was so excited about our Minecraft Day and our holiday party that he was sitting on the iPods ready to play. It is so cute how excited he gets over events in our classroom! We love Starbuck and will miss him when he returns to Santa.
Starbuck realized how careful we are being with our devices from home today, so while we were at lunch he protected our room from the wreath on our door. He must have been a wonderful room guard because when we returned everything was just like it was when we left. He has been a helpful elf today rather than a mischievous elf!
Starbuck's brother, Starman visited today.
Starbuck gave him a gift and enjoyed spending time with him. Starman is a noisy elf unlike Starbuck.

Day 13- Starbuck
Today Mrs. Lane was a little late to school because she had a grade level teacher celebration so she did not get to check out the room before school. Starbuck decided to take advantage of her absence and covered the entrance to the classroom with crepe paper streamers and in the process of doing that he got tied up with streamers as well. He is really a mischievous little elf. It is a good thing we are patient with his shenanigans.
Oh my goodness. He tried to be a helpful little elf and clean up the mess he made this morning, but he must have been really tired because he fell asleep inside of a pillow. At least he was quiet for the remainder of the day.
Day 12- Starbuck
Upon arrival today, the All-Stars found Starbuck hanging over the basketball team. Thankfully he did not fall on O.W.S.! We were a little concerned about that but O.W.S. was saved! Maybe Starbuck was just watching him carefully, who knows?!
In the afternoon our class was going to make candy Christmas trees and Starbuck got into our trash, turned over the can, found an empty ice cream cone box to get into and then put a broken cone on this head as a hat. Oh my... he can be a naughty elf! I wonder if Santa knows that he is
NOT always a good role model for our students!

Day 11- Starbuck
The All-Stars were excited to return on Monday to find Starbuck here after the weekend and the difficult day on Friday! He sure had made a mess of our lunch count though. He must have thought we needed lots of food today or maybe he was hungry! Mrs. Lane was not in the class in the afternoon, so Starbuck watched over the class for her and made sure everyone behaved. She did receive a positive report from Starbuck for most of the class members! Starbuck is a great helper to Mrs. Lane as well as Santa.
Day 10-Starbuck's Disappearance
Oh my... Today's message was not so happy. Starbuck had disappeared because he told Santa someone in our class touched him. Now we understand why he was trying so hard to get to the North Pole quickly yesterday afternoon. He did finally return in the afternoon with peppermints for us all, but unfortunately our students were greedy with the peppermints and Starbuck had to collect them all and then see if the students could behave enough to get them. It was a tough day.... Wonder what he shared with Santa?
